| Healing with color and sound |
Everything in life is made up of energy. Becoming a master has to do with your ability to change energy from one form to another which can be done through prayer, affirmation, visualization, breathing, physical activity, and many other methods .Two of the most powerful methods of transforming energy involve the use of color and sound. Each color, of course, relates to one of the Chakras. Each color in the following chart also relates to a certain musical note. The chart delineates the color's effects and the problems that may be treated with that particular color.

COLOR HEALING USING CANDLES |
| There are many ways color can be utilized. The first method I would suggest is lighting colored candles. Light a candle of the color that is appropriate for what you are attempting to manifest. If you want truth and purity light a white candle. If you want to gain know ledge light a yellow candle, a pink candle to send love, a blue candle for the resolution of a spiritual problem. Green candles are good for monetary and material concerns. Lavender candles are especially good for healing. Silver candles are good for protection. As you light the candle say a prayer and state what you need. It is important to be specific. Thank God for granting you what you need. The candle and the color it is radiating keep your prayer manifesting that specific energy as long as the candle is lit. |
COLOR HEALING USING LAMP RADIATION |
| Colored lamplight is a wonderful method to use. All you need is a small lamp and colored light bulbs, sometimes light bulbs of certain color are hard to find; at photography stores you can buy colored gels that can be taped over the lamp instead. Let yourself bask in the colored light as you read or sleep. If you are reading and you want more energy, use an orange light bulb or gel. If you need physical healing, use a green light. If you want mental stimulation, use a yellow light. If you want a more spiritual feeling, use a blue or violet light. |
COLOR WATER HEALING |
| The idea is to place the colored gels around a clear glass bottle of water. Place the closed glass water bottle with the gel covering it outside in the sun. The sun will shine through the colored gel into the water and energize it both with the sun's energy and with the color frequency of that particular gel. You can drink water permeated with the green healing vibration or with the qualities of whatever color you have chosen. The water will not change color but will most definitely contain the frequency of the chosen color. |
COLOR BREATHING |
| Another method of utilizing color is to breathe different colors into your body. Red, orange, and yellow are magnetic and should be visualized as flowing up from the earth toward the solar plexus. Blue, indigo, and violet are electrical and are breathed in from the ethers downward. Green is the balancer of the spectrum and flows into the systems horizontally. When breathing, breathe deeply, bringing air into the lower abdomen. The best time to practice this technique is before breakfast or dinner |

| Visualize yourself bathed in the color you choose to resonate with. It can be seen as a ball of light or a tube of light. You might just affirm to yourself, "I'm now filled with emerald green" You are God, and anything you affirm or visualize takes place, for word is law, and you create with your mind. |

| You can channel color through your hands for healing purposes. You can do it on yourself or on a friend, animal, or plant you want to heal. It is just a matter of affirming and visualizing that are doing this and it will be done. |

| When you want to embody or cultivate a certain quality, consciously wear clothes of that color and wear jewelry or carry gemstones that hold the same vibration. |

LOSING WEIGHT WITH COLOR

Being overweight is a result of an imbalance between the
red and blue rays that the body extracts mainly from foods and from other sources. The individual who is overweight and who wishes to lose weight will work on this principle: The body suffers from an insufficiency of red rays because it has an overabundance of blue rays . The body is overdosed with blue rays and underdosed with red rays.How do you add
red rays to the body? How does one tune in, vibrate with, and absorb the needed red rays? Follow the steps indicated below using this precaution: Never increase the time limits for exposure to light. If in doubt, underexpose. Never overexpose. Infrared rays should never be used.Four steps to build a reserve of red rays:

/. Expose the body to a bath of red light.1) Assemble your equipment: a lamp with a red
bulb at least fifteen watts ;a second lamp with a regulation white light, frosted or unfrosted; a clock-timer; a set of recorded music : fast-moving tempo, exciting, or martial music that arouses one to action or stimulates one. Arrange the music for thirty or forty minutes of uninterrupted music.2) Have your equipment close to where you choose to relax so you can easily reach it for adjustment without disturbing your relaxed state. you can turn on your lights, adjust your timer, and listen to the music. Assure yourself of complete privacy.
3) Start your music and then lie down on your bed and relax your unclothed body. Attempt to remove irritating or annoying thoughts from your mind. Give yourself about two minutes to be stimulated by the challenging recorded music.
4) Adjust your timer to a five minutes warning signal then turn on the white light and allow it to shine on your head and body while you listen to the stirring music.
5) When the five minute warning signal sounds, reajust your timer to ring in ten minutes; then turn off the white light and turn on the
red light. Allow it to shine on your head and body, especially your stomach, your back, and your feet. Let the red rays flood the body. Make sure the bulb does not burn you.6) When the ten minutes signal is sounded, turn off the
red light immediately.7) Then turn on the white light and reajust your timer to a fifteen minutes warning termination. Allow the white light to shine on your head and body while your stimulated self continues to listen to the music.
Caution: If the individual using red for some time should feel feverish and exhausted one should switch to a orange bulb. If he has a definite fever or diarrhea that lasts for more than one day, he should switch to a blue light for five minutes-not for ten-and follow with fifteen minutes of white light. The day after the condition abates, he should return to use of red light. Individuals who have hypertention or tachycardia should substitute an orange bulb for a red bulb. Red will raise the blood pressure which is contre-indicated in the cases of hypertention or tachycardia whereas orange will stimulate and raise the pulse rate without raising the blood pressure.8) This procedure of music and exposure to two different light rays must be followed for at least forty five days, but need not be followed for more than sixty days..... Possibly without any interruption in the daily routine so that a patterned behaviour - response to this red
color is established. Remember the goal: To restore proper balance of red rays to the body. It would be effective to expose the body at the same time everyday. the best moments for charging the body with these energizing rays are sunrise, sunset, and the median hour of noon, but the individual is merely advised to choose a half hour of time which could be regularly followed as far as his program permits. firm adherence to the hour and the moment is recommended, but is not inflexibly insisted upon. Let the individual use his common sense in following out a reasonably consistent program with some type of regularity. What is stressed is the matter of daily exposure; These interstaller light charges irradiate the body batteries; hence these daily cosmic charges are imperative. Remember: daily cosmic charges! Think what happens to your car battery if your charger fails to function. Within a day, your car is immobilized. The body must adapt to the new patterns; hence regularity is stressed. 2/.Eat foods rich with the red rays of spectrum.The person who seeks to lose weight should select foods rich with the red rays of the spectrum ;that means the foods must be liberally endowed with red, yellow, orange rays. 1) Breathe deeply and regularly as prescribed for meditation.
2) Visualize white rays coming into the body from the head and downward; these white rays sweep down and into the body and envelop the body externally and internally. Do this for two minutes.
3)Then visualize
red rays as streaming up from the earth, into the soles of the feet and mounting up in waves to the top of the head. Concentrate on this upward waving motion through the feet for two minutes only.4) Then concentrate on white rays (repeat step 2); for five minutes let cosmic white radiant energy bathe you. Now you function in balance and harmony between the
red and the blue rays.
